Analysis
This New Moon is going to be a feisty one, loaded with cardinal energies helping us break through some challenging limitations. The key is knowing when not to push back. Both the Sun and Moon are coming together in the Mars-ruled sign of Aries. Aries is all about independence and exerting our own wills. This is an excellent time to set some new personal goals for yourself. You’ll likely to be shown where you have room to grow during this Moon. However, this won’t be served up on a silver platter. Aries has a tendency to need to take responsibility, and walk the path (or fight the war), alone. With push back from serious Saturn, it's certain you will have to take the long road. Saturn’s square is for good reason, hoping you will pump the breaks and do things by the book, or properly. You may feel as if some authority figure is taking your power away. Tempers may flare as this signs square off, but the key is to be present, and choosing your battles wisely.

Mercury is now in forward motion, returning to Neptune and trining the North Node in Cancer. Mercury conjunct Neptune helps us tune into how we feel, how we speak or think of others. We are much more likely to practice empathy, and vibrate unconditionally. These two planets making a trine to the North Node, we are being asked to be mindful of our emotions, our homes, and family. While we may come from all walks of life, we are collectively one. Mercury will also be making an easy angle to Saturn, giving hopes that authoritarians in our lives may have a sudden epiphany and choose to govern differently. We have a choice to choose to diffuse conflict and be gentle with each other, even more importantly with ourselves. This New Moon provides everyone with an opportunity to turn over a new leaf, and potentially lay our weapons down.

Mars is in Gemini, helping us broaden our horizons. This can be a nice change, and help us move in a multitude of different ways. Although this may be distracting for some of you, give yourself permission and dare to go your own way. Uranus is making an out of sign trine to Jupiter, connecting us to our soul tribes. People who are necessary to help facilitate and birth these changes will now appear. The may come from far and wide, to help expand your views on the world, and believe in the impossible. Pluto is making his extremely rare and potent conjunction with the karmic South Node in Capricorn. This is a turning point in 2019, preparing us for the major transits to come in 2020 when the great conjunction of Saturn, Pluto, South Node and Jupiter come together and decide our fate for the years ahead. Things are breaking down. They’ll slowly come to the surface to help you break away from what is toxic, and no longer beneficial for you in the long term. With it’s aspects to the nodes, we are cultivating deep change, and shedding layers of pain from present, and past lives. The question is; would you like to do that the easy way, or the hard way? Surrender!

Ritualistic Inspirations

Try This…
  • Start new projects or physical work out routines
  • Get a scalp and face massage
Practice fire gazing:
  • Make a list of wishes that relate specifically to you, then meditate with that list. When you are finished, leave it in a metal pot or cauldron and let it burn. Look for symbols in the flame with a soft gaze. Visualize these coming to life. You may even take some of the crystals mentioned above and hold them over the smoke of your wishes to charge them with those intentions. Be sure to take these stones with you in your pocket, talisman pouch, or bag.

Kitchen Witch" is a term used for cunning or witchy folx whose spiritual practice is rooted within food, mealtimes, and the home. Kitchen Witches craft rituals, spells and/or potions utilizing edible items, found objects, and common household items. The kitchen is their altar; their home is their sacred space. In 2014, we created our Ritual Kits, Candles and Apothecary with the idea of mixing and matching common ritualistic ingredients like lavender, rose, or patchouli that would create a perfect combination for a unique spell or intention- setting ritual...
