Welcome to your December Overview!
Let 2018 be known as the year of retrogrades! Woof, it’s over. As we reflect on the past several months of twists and turns, you may now breathe a sigh of relief. December is a month of some much more manageable and tranquil astrological transits. Take some extra time on the 5th to get some rest and recuperate. The Sun will be blending with Neptune making this a lazy day, where our immune systems are apt to take a hit. Prevent illness with lots of liquids or a warm bath. The Mercury retrograde will be winding down on the 6th of the month, you can rest easy when it comes to making any electronic purchases as gifts. I should note; when it comes to big-budget electronic items, extended warranties are still encouraged since we will be in the Mercury shadow. The same goes for any travel plans, as some things can still be apt to change unexpectedly. So double check any tickets, connecting flights and reservations
The energy around the 7th of the month is apt to be inspirational and an artists dream, as Mars and Neptune meet up in Pisces. Just be sure to use this energy with a creative outlet such as film, dance, or music. This energy can get a bit dicey with heavy weather and motor vehicles. Some are apt to have issues with drugs, alcohol, or other various poisons under these transit. This same day we have an expansive New Moon in Sagittarius inspiring us to set our sights high, and aim for our wildest dreams. Now is a good time to set new educational goals, plan a trip, or expand in the areas of higher learning. December 20th is a day to really pay attention to, as Uranus brings you flashes of psychic insight.
December 21st is known as the Winter Solstice, marking the longest evening of the year. This is the official move into Winter, with the Sun entering the sign of Capricorn. This evening is best spent by lighting candles, and reflecting on our goals and aspirations for the year ahead. The following day on the 22nd we move into a very watery and emotional Full Moon in Cancer. Many of us will be seeking a sense of comfort and familiarity. Sometimes, home really is where the heart is. It’s now time to step up and take charge of the healing process within ourselves. It isn’t always easy, but it’s now we learn how to speak from the heart and come from a place of emotional maturity.
The month winds down with Mars moving into Aries on the 31st giving us a burst of energy and enthusiasm. Between this and the Sun Saturn conjunction on the 1st of January, you’re bound to really stick to your New Years Resolutions!

This month it’s imperative you double and triple check any travel plans. There can be some unexpected changes due to weather and unforeseen events so pay attention. Especially during the first week of December. Do your research and thoroughly look over all possible options before making a purchase. There are some opportunities to review your budgeting or joint savings with a partner. Explore new ways to finance or save together if at all possible. With the New Moon in your travel sector, it may just pay off and end up covering a dream trip or educational expenses later down the line. The 21st is an excellent time to gear up for some major work. Although you may be working overtime, be appreciative. Not everyone is going to be as busy as you in the months ahead. Use the Full Moon to bring you back to center, be sure to unplug and really connect with your family unit.

You’re feeling curious when it comes to what’s going on behind the scenes. Jupiters trek into your hidden sector for the next thirteen months will have you doing research, seeking advances, and finding spiritual ways of connecting intimately. Your definition of security is about to change. If situations come up with partners where you feel less than supported, they won’t be well contained now. Meditate on security VS. control, you’ll quickly realize they are not the same. If there’s one thing you’ve realized recently, is you can’t control your partners. You are only responsible for two things; you, and your own actions. Don’t be surprised if you find yourself having conversations with people from your past. There’s something for you to wrap up early on in the month with them. Remember that many of the things that come at you now are a reflection of your thoughts. The more you’re making way for positivity, the more likely it will come about. The Full Moon will test you a bit on the 22nd. Don’t let fear be in the driver's seat.

Ace of Cups: Cup runneth over with love and devotion
Relationships get a refresh this month. Between Jupiter expanding your marital sector, and the New Moon on the 7th, you’re bound to bring in some significant lessons in partnerships. It’s very likely you’re mingling with people who have a sense of adventure and culture. For those coupled, you may have a significant other who is traveling now. If this is the case, and you find yourself alone at home don’t worry, absence makes the heart grow fonder. Take time to get artistic and lose yourself in a new design project, or something creative. Music, painting, or meditation can help pass the time. Keep yourself busy so you don’t feel neglected. The Full Moon will have you going all out for some purchases. It’s likely you may be having to entertain or cover expenses for family around the home. Food and comfort seem to take priority. Just take caution and plan this in advance to prevent overspending. New Years seems like a blast and very social, be sure to get out and party.

There’s apt to be some changes in your workflow this month. Some of you will be just coming out of interviews, while others will be accepting new positions. If you received an offer to return to an old place of business recently think it over thoroughly before accepting. Once you get into the flow of these changes mid-month it should be smooth sailing. The New Moon on the 7th has you feeling positive about your health and routine. Some of you will really benefit from securing a new fitness instructor or trainer. Consider starting your New Years resolutions a bit early to make the most of next month. If you’re experiencing any issues in relationships or superiors, don’t get frustrated. You will be feeling a tad bit more emotional than usual around the Full Moon. Being that it’s in your sign, it’s all about the relationship you have with yourself. Avoid projecting your issues on partners, because they won’t respond well now. Moodiness and insecurities need to be dealt with. Don’t overly indulge in bad habits to soothe emotions, opt for a nice soak in the tub, and you’ll be good as new.

Dating is looking excellent for you this year, but only if you’re willing to put yourself out there. The New Moon makes it possible to meet someone. There’s a good chance that they may reside in another city, but don’t let that stop you. Culture, creativity, and self-expression are all significant themes in your life in the months ahead. Passion is what will keep you going, so be sure to be in the moment when it arrives. The 21st can bring up some major projects at work for January 2019, it’s important to plan and organize everything ahead of time if possible. This will make the transition back to the office more bearable, and not have you coming in with the vacation blues. With Mercury wrapping up it’s retrograde in your home sector, and now Jupiter moving in, it may feel as if you are outgrowing your space! This year you may be moving to another neighborhood, or even as far as another country. Start doing your research now and checking out what your options are. Don’t rush to make a move quite yet, the beginning of 2019 is a much better time to put that into action. For others, this is finally getting the time to be able to fly home and spend time with family. Regardless you’re being blessed with a jolly time among home and family members. If you do happen to be celebrating, there’s more of a focus with catching up with old friends and having them over for a meal. It seems like it’s been a while since you have seen some people.
