  • Sextile Mars

Keywords/Themes: Expand, Philosophical ideals, morality, travel, action, moving forward, growth at all costs, bravado, adventure, religion, conviction, abundance, life path.

Collective Energies:

Jupiter-ruled Sagittarius wants abundance: to go big or go home, have your cake and eat it too, as well as have plenty of time for fun. Sagittarius is the sign of optimism and also expands the realm of feelings. It rules the pointer finger and can be eager to place blame when it concerns itself with morality and ideals as well as philosophy. However, the shadow side of it can be arrogance, exaggeration, or superiority.

Watch out for overindulgence or being optimistic to a point that ignores the emotions. This full moon offers a wonderful time to examine our truth and tap into our adventurous side, as well as making time to be silly or be playful. Spiritual and religious concerns may take a priority or evoke our inner humanitarian, as Sagittarius sometimes leans towards a messiah/redeemer tendencies.

The grand trine with the  Moon, North Node, and South Node reminds us about moving forward and staying on our soul’s path and vision. While the sextile to Mars may imply focusing on what we want and taking action towards our visions from the last new moon.

Sagittarius wants to celebrate. This is a good time for holidays, weddings, birthdays, etc. so make time to honor what is good and working in your life on this optimistic full moon. Though don't be disappointed if you are feeling more emotional, this can also be an expansion of the emotional realm that could feel warm-hearted or too much.

This full moon may also bring us into more heart opening and exploration, so run with it!  Here are some ritual suggestions for integrating these energies:

Everyday ritual recommendations:

// Body // Soothing essential oils such as lavender (try our Lavender Ritual Candle or Ritual Oil)

// Mind // Philosophy or religious texts, or travel books

// Spirit // Metta meditation or heart opening yoga asanas

// Soul // Do more things that bring you into joy and expansion. The Happiness & Inspiration Ritual Kit is perfect for just this!

The fierce and powerful Freyja was the Norse goddess of many dueling aspects! While she was the goddess of love, sexuality, fertility and beauty, she was also a warrior goddess of death, strength, lust, and war itself. Freyja is also viewed as the Goddess of magick, because she was believed to be magick itself!! She was a force of untamed nature and desires. If there was something that Freya wanted, she was above no moral standard to obtain her desires. One of Freya’s most notable correspondences is a

Additionally, because Virgo's native planet is Mercury, and is particularly associated with attention to detail, analysis, practicality, and organization, when Mercury, the planet of communication and intellect, goes retrograde in Virgo, what's most probable is an extra strong, challenging Mercury Retrograde.
