Analysis
This is one of those Full Moons that has more to it than what meets the eye. As an astrologer, this is known as the "Cold Moon," and I'm really beginning to see why. When Gemini really gets to the depths of its core traits, it can be cold and calculating. Detached, and seeking only facts or information. But this isn't why I am connecting this to being a "Cold Moon." While Gemini's usual behavior is chatty and happy go lucky, the aspects between Pluto/ Saturn/ and Venus make this lunation extra, chilly. Venus is moving into a tight conjunction with Pluto in Capricorn. This is an indication that many of you will be dealing with some sort of transformation when it comes to love or finances. Pluto always screams, " transmute or die!". Pluto also has a tendency to have us dip into what's often obsessive, or downright dangerous. So if there's been any long coming drama in these departments, expect it to surface over the next two weeks.

Full Moons, as always, represent the polarity between the Sun and The Moon, bringing things to an accumulation. On the axis of Gemini and Sagittarius, it's purely about information VS. the higher meaning of life. Gemini is focused on taking it all in, discussing, or debating all possible avenues. Downloading data or information to better understand a situation at hand. Things may feel a bit out of sorts, or foggy during this Full Moon. I am suggesting everyone take a few days to let the dust settle. Both the Sun and the Moon will be making hard mutable squares to Neptune. This can create a sense of illusion or mistrust. Not all may be what it appears.

Mercury will be trine Chiron, providing some excellent opportunities in being able to communicate more effectively, and essentially make room for healing. This can be in the form of a heart to heart, letters, and other forms of communication. Words can be extra therapeutic when used appropriately. Mars will be making positive aspects to the North Node and is packing an extra punch in it's home sign of Scorpio. This is allowing us to find solace in letting go and making way for new beginnings. Expansive Jupiter is now in the sign of Capricorn, making thrilling trines to Uranus in Taurus. This makes me feel if somethings going to change, it's going to be quick and unexpected. Jupiter has a method to his madness; his expansion. With the help of Uranus, suddenly something that has been ready to launch for some time will.

I encourage you to meditate on what needs to transform in your life. Release any fears when it comes to relationships or intimacy. Relinquish the need to feel in control of any particular outcome now. Fears and false illusions will surface, and it's up to you to disengage. Anything real can never be taken away from you. Don't give in to social media stalking, obsession over exes, or racking up too much of a debt on a credit card. Real love and financial security comes from the ability to remain clear in your expectations. Maturity and careful planning will be rewarded. Sometimes romance isn't all fairytales and happy endings, sometimes its hard work. Anything worth it often is challenging and rarely perfect. Lean into that, and choose whats real.

You will need:
  • Yellow or White candle (any size)
  • Incense, preferably from the above list
  • Florida water (or any cleansing water. The Cleansing and Renewal Mist will work well too)
  • Pen and Paper
  • Matches
Instructions:

This is an exercise/ ritual intended to help release any repetitive thoughts or loose emotional ends that need tying up. Being that Gemini Full Moons are about completions and letter writing, I thought it would be excellent to write a letter to someone (or yourself), and release any past hurt or resentment. This could also be helpful for those going through rough or rocky relationship issues. It does NOT need to be sent to anyone. Words are spells in themselves.
  1. Take your candle and incense and light it. Setting the intention for sacred space. Call on any guides or spirits that you work with.
  2. Meditate and bring your attention to your third eye. Focus on all of the feelings, emotions, and situations you are ready to release. This can be within you, or between you and another person or situation.
  3. When ready, write all of this down. In no particular format. You may choose to address yourself specifically or someone else. It's up to you. When you're finished, fold the paper three times AWAY FROM YOU.
  4. Take some Florida water and pour a small bit in your hands. Gently rub your hands together, touching the top of your crown. Then moving down the body, past your third eye, your chest, shoulders, and down to your torso. Do not stop moving your hands until you touch your feet. The goal is to use this liquid to cleanse your aura from top to bottom.
  5. You may bury this letter and return it to the earth, you may also choose to recycle it, or you may burn this in a fire-safe pot or pan. If you decide to release this intention with fire, do so carefully and in a well-ventilated area.
  6. Close sacred space when you are done. Allow the candle to burn out on its own.
