It’s summer here in the northern hemisphere, and Gemini season is ringing in social butterfly energy! Happy birthday month to all the Gems and early Cancers out there. Below are your June 2021 Celestial Insights to traverse this month with ease and grace…
The major highlights of this month include: Venus bringing love and harmony into two signs at the beginning and end of the month; we are both in eclipse season and ending eclipse season (whew!); an annular solar eclipse new moon coming up; a couple of planets move retrograde; Mercury stations direct; and the year long dance with Saturn and Uranus hits a peak mid-month.
Check out all of the notable transits below. Plus, get ready for rituals around the new and full moons with themes, symbols, and tools to use for your manifestations and releases, along with what house will be most affected for you, per lunation. June blessings, y’all.
Notable Dates and Transits:
THEMES & SYMBOLS: Breakthroughs, journeying, writing, music, siblings, twins, feathers, deer, butterfly, yellow, bright blue, lavender, lily of the valley
Neptune is squaring the solar eclipse, along with the New Moon and Mercury, so there is a bit of confusion around this lunation, but nothing that can’t get clear if we write out our thoughts or talk them out. Journaling and list-making is encouraged during your ritual… Pen to paper is medicine for working out nebulous ideas and energy and engaging with your Book of Mirrors (aka your magick journal). Additionally, playing music, singing, and chanting is encouraged to clear energetic clutter and raise your vibration into a clear-headed space. Try creating and writing out your own spell with your intentions, then chanting or singing it aloud into the flame of your new moon candle. Hermes is listening!

RITUAL + ALTAR INSPIRATIONS
NEW MOON PETITION
Write your intentions as specifically as possibly on a small piece of paper, in the present tense, as if they are already happening. Fold it 3 times toward you, symbolizing bringing energy to you, and place on your altar under one of your crystals. You may also place your petition under your Air Element Candle or chime candle holder before you light your candle.
SUGGESTED MANTRA
“I am awake, clear, and easily manifest my wishes into being for my highest good. My voice is my power and I communicate with intention and love. I am grateful for all that I am manifesting. So mote it be!”
NEW MOON MEDICINE
Gemini rules our lungs, bronchial tubes, shoulders, arms, and hands. Singing, chanting, writing, drawing—anything that uses your voice, literally or figuratively, will be balancing. Like last month, chanting the bija mantra HAM will clear and strengthen your throat chakra.
THEMES & SYMBOLS: The sea goat, stones, metal, bones, releases, control, home vs. work, antelope, narwhal, navy blue, gray, beige, brown
Full moons are ripe for releases and forgiveness after its peak. This full moon follows eclipse season, so there is a sense of cathartic release, but it still asks us to own up to our responsibilities, see where control may be out of balance, and spotlights our work versus home life. We can work on releasing blockages that prevent growth and flow—think cracking out of calcified structures of unhealthy control that we are outgrowing spiritually and emotionally.
YOUR FULL MOON LUNATION HOUSE

RITUAL + ALTAR INSPIRATIONS
FULL MOON PETITION
In Capricorn, an earth sign, you can write out your full moon releases on a small piece of paper and cover with stones or bury it far from your home. If you are using stones and crystals, add some metal objects to your altar and slide your petition underneath all of these. Create a ring of salt around your dish with all of these stones, or sprinkle salt directly over your petition.
SUGGESTED MANTRA
“I release the hardened blockages that prevent me from growing. I release control where it does not serve and let go of my obsession with outcomes. I break free from the old, growing like a wise oak tree with deep roots in security. I am balanced at home and in the world. I am transformed.”
FULL MOON MEDICINE
Capricorn rules our spine, teeth, bones, joints, knees, hair, skin, and nails. Think about doing cat cow yoga poses to increase flow around your spine, doing Kundalini yoga/ breathwork, sitting outside 15 minutes a day for vitamin D, and nourishing your hair, skin, and nails with organic oils, sprays, and lotions. Turmeric and cinnamon are good for the teeth, as well as doing oil pulling with coconut oil before brushing.
QUICK TIP: Our Energy Cleansing Kits + Herb Bundles have all the essentials needed to work with this full moon!
Wishing you all a song-filled New Moon and a calibrating Full Moon this June!
