March 2022 Tarotscopes

March greetings, and happy solar return wishes to all Pisces and early Aries folks! Below are your intuitive tarot readings coupled with insightful astro snapshots by Richard, per sign, for this month. We will also pull a card for the collective, which you can use in conjunction with your personal tarot card to create a robust narrative around what is calling your attention during this monthly cycle.

To get the most out of these Horoscopes, please read them based off of your Ascendant/ Rising sign, as these are the signs that are the basis of our monthly breakdowns. Your Ascendant sign is the sign of the Zodiac which was rising on the eastern horizon at the time, date & location of our birth, and it provides us with a much more individualized view of our personal astrology. If you do not yet know your Rising Sign, feel free to find it here: Chart Drawing, Ascendant. All you will need is the closest possible time, date & location of your birth. For those not able to find an accurate Rising Sign, you can secondarily read these horoscopes by your Sun sign and thirdly by your Moon sign.

Stay tuned for the Celestial Insights blog to see what the stars have to say, along with lunar magick offerings!

READINGS FOR THE COLLECTIVE

TAROT CARD OF THE MONTH
Deck Used: Thoth Deck
Card: Queen of Wands
The overall energetic message for this month that you can use to expand and clarify your personal card reading is: The Queen of Wands. Gemini and Pisces both got this as their primary cards, so I would say those signs should really heed and explore the message of this card. In the Thoth deck, the Queen of Wands holds the Dionysian staff topped with a pinecone, representing the pineal gland in our brains, or “seat of the soul,” pointing to inner consciousness and spiritual ascension that brings self-knowledge. A leopard comrade sits at her side, her fire companion, that like the Leo card in the RWCS deck is a beautiful wild beast that is free yet tamed by the trustworthy Queen. Overall, this queen has a strong will, determination, purposiveness, and bright charisma that is both sensual and creative. She has both water and fire qualities (Q of W rules the last decan of Pisces and the first 2 decans of Aries), so spiritual intelligence coupled with drive and the unification of opposing forces to enact a rebirth or reach wholeness. Keywords: self-discovery, raising of personal consciousness, creativity, sensuality, personal power.

ASTRO SNAP SHOT
The astrology of March is very interesting, starting off with a strong conjunction of Mars and Pluto. This opens the month with a major breakthrough energy that transforms part of our lives for the good and helps to make space for something new. This is compounded by a Pisces New Moon which is very watery and right on top of Jupiter. This energy can be very spiritual and ethereal, but if we are not careful, can potentially be ungrounded and unrealistic. Venus and Mars then enter Aquarius and we see Venus ‘conquested’, or sandwiched between Mars and Saturn. For some, this can be very frustrating and feel like all the movement of the beginning of the month has come to a quick stand still, but for others, this slowing down can be introspective and give time to turn inward. Financials are on the forefront with this conquesting of Venus, and it may cause some frustrations there. The new and full moon this month happens on the axis that concerns settling karmic debts and the dissolving of the unhealthy ego. We find a strong focus on our daily routine/structure with the breaking of barriers and limitation of belief.

READINGS FOR THE SIGNS

ARIES

Tarot Card: 10 of Pentacles
Your March card highlights the combination of both ending and starting a new cycle in the material realm around security: ending/starting a new job, financial plan or ways of making money, or health routine/health regimen. This card indicates abundance and culmination of resources, likely with the help of family or even doing ancestor work for insight. Oftentimes in my readings, this card can indicate inheritance or some sort of familial collection of useful resources getting dispersed, so whether it’s money or wisdom, there is some family of origin/chosen family abundance available to you or coming in. If you are at the helm of abundance, this indicates you being able to truly embody and live in the abundance you created with ease. By acknowledging your privilege and security, sharing that abundance from your personal successes will connect you to others in order to create stability and comfort for all. Your hard work is not in vain! Enjoy and share it for long term joy.

Astro Snapshot

March starts off with a Pisces New Moon right on top of Jupiter in your 12th house, the area of the chart pertaining to anything unseen, the subconscious mind and releasing. You may find this month that themes around letting go and making space in your life come up quite a bit. This is because Mars, your ruling planet, forms a strong conjunction to Pluto at the end of Capricorn, calling on the releasing of the old and emboldening you to step away from anything in your life that might be keeping you chained to past hurts or dated versions of yourself. Pluto does away with the old and makes space for the new, and as your ruling planet joins forces with Pluto, a bold energy of release will be present in your life. Later in the month, Mercury enters your 12th house and follows the Sun as they make their way to your first house, helping to form a clear vision of the future, bringing about a new beginning and to declare a new version of yourself that could only have come out of letting go of something from the past. This month's Virgo Full Moon on the 18th will help with problem solving if it is needed, but also will help embolden you to see this month's spiritual and emotional processes out to completion.

TAURUS

Tarot Card: High Priestess

Your guides are asking you to get out of your head and its practical, stubborn thinking and be a bit vulnerable… The message is to not only follow your intuition, but actively seek out darker parts of your mind, secrets, and hidden info to get the whole picture around whatever is on your mind this month. The archetype of this card encompasses the Divine Mystical Feminine, which every human embodies. The High Priestess highlights third eyesight, personal downloads/insights, mystical participation, enlightenment, spiritual sensuality, and messages from ancestors/the celestial realm. Allow for some wiggle room to let your intuition and your “gut” speak to you instead of just your mind and rational voice… There are some important messages wanting to emerge, so pay attention to dreams, somatic sensations, symbols, and synchronicities this month.

Astro Snapshot
Venus, your ruling planet, spends almost all of the month sandwiched between Mars and Saturn. This isn’t her favorite place to be, and energies of frustration may come about this month, especially around things pertaining to work, career, long term goals or parental stuff. You may be feeling a strong desire to charge towards something in your life and to make something happen right now, however, life might be showing you that this month just isn't the best time for it. While this sandwiching is going on with Venus, it’s best to wait if possible so that in the coming month you get a more clear vision of what to do in regards to your goals. Balance is key in the astrology of March for you, and as you continue to build upon the long term goals, as well as growing in the departments of career and personal success. Let any setbacks this month serve you for future use, and let any mistakes that might be made serve as education on what to do going forward. Once Venus moves beyond Mars at the end of March, you will realize how the timing around these things was perfect, and you will have the green light to proceed full force.

GEMINI

Tarot Card: Queen of Wands (jumper: Knight of Pentacles):
Mastery and following through are important themes for you in March, Geminis. Last month, you were asked to focus on Queen of Pentacles, and now that you have some earthy grounding, material realm abundance, and work/health/money flow, Queen of Wands wants you to use this sturdy foundation and start to build something on it and LIVE it. This fire queen is my “sacred witch card” who brings innate creativity, passion, and the zest for life to everything she does. She calls on you to take up some space. She asks you to fan your inner flame and step into Oistros, or awakening your drive, getting a zap of motivation to start living it up in the world… Sometimes this involves taking risks so we can uncover more meaning and freedom. If you’ve felt bogged down, uninspired, or tbh, I wanna say “dead inside,” this card is offering you energy and opportunity to participate in what you want to see, create, or live in. The Knight of Pentacles is your protector, sent by last month’s Queen to remember to take it slow and steady since you can get a lot of ideas at once and get overwhelmed, or just not follow through. But this is your month of awakening and I really strongly feel for many, is also a month of transformation into your power by starting a new role, a new relationship, or job. Be courageous and creative, Gems! There is some soul path alignment awaiting you!

Astro Snapshot
This month has a lot of breakthroughs for you as March’s New and Full Moon land in both the highest and deepest sections of your chart. A lot of these breakthroughs will have deeper elements to them that may not be fully realized just yet, but they come from a place in your life that focuses on balancing out the future with the past. A lot of this month is deep! Rich with feelings and emotions that support your forward movement, but equally has elements of melancholy and nostalgia. As this month starts off, the conjunction of divisive and passionate Mars forms with transformative Pluto in your 8th house. Be on the lookout for something shifting this month between yourself and other people, or around some situation pertaining to responsibility and shared resources. Passions may also be high this month around areas of sensuality, sex and relations.

CANCER

Tarot Card: Ace of Swords (jumper: The Empress)
March portends to have a noticeable shift and clean slate energy to it, Cancers… Your card is indicating some message communicated to or shared with you, or a personal insight, that will bring clarity to a certain situation or something you’ve had in your mental periphery. The Empress is coloring in this clarity card with the encouragement of self-care, self-love, some indulgence, and bringing in Venusian energy to your life. She is the ultimate Creatrix, so the themes of literal or metaphorical pregnancy, gestation, creativity, creation, and birth are also prevalent in relation to some communications. The Ace also guides you to intentionally be clear, straightforward, and transparent in all communications, especially around the aforementioned Empress themes. It’s possible there will be some breakthrough occurring this month, or some new ideas and plans that get initiated around The Empress energy… Likewise, gestation and tending to the seeds of these new ideas/communication now can set the stage for some big growth in your out-of-the-box idea in the coming months. Nurture your ideas and insights with intention! Keep this new conversation going.

Astro Snapshot
March has a lot of movement for you that bounces between intense charging forward and stopping, especially within committed relationships and really, any relationships for that matter. As we shift into Aries season, the changing of the seasons in your life will be felt strongly as the Sun ingresses into the highest section of your chart. This will bring about a strong sense of forward movement as well as a desire for something public or visible, even a desire for some sort of recognition or acknowledgment from others. In the later half of March, you will find yourself feeling bold and much more optimistic about something to come. However, March is not the best time to make strong commitments economically or materially. With Venus, the planet of materials and finances subdued by Mars and Saturn in your house of shared resources and obligations, you may want to take a second look at where there might be a blockage or imbalance in these areas of life. Come the last 3 days of the month, Venus breaks away from this placement and things will clear up, aiding in any blockage regarding financials, obligation or shared resources between you and others.

LEO

Tarot Card: High Priestess
Taurus also got this card, and for you Leo friends, this feels like you got something moving last month or recently—a successful venture, project, or similar, and now that you used your strength, creativity, and power of your Divine Masculine solar self, you are asked to equally give energy to your inner Divine Feminine self. This may be as simple as going with your gut and following your intuition around certain situations where you are getting “pings” even if they may not make logical sense… Follow the pings! Similarly, the balance of dark and light for the purpose of understanding your self or a situation more accurately may be the work: move toward your shadow, move into the liminal space… What are your dreams, visions, synchronicities telling you? Allow your inner High Priestess to communicate with you. You can engage her by having more alone time, being in stillness more (even if it’s just taking a longer shower and letting the water run on your face), and have faith that regardless of what others may be telling you, you are the expert of your orbit. For some, gossip is resonant this month, and as a card about secrets, this is a message affirming anything related to secrets that your gut is telling you.

Astro Snapshot
This month's astrology for you highlights economics, money and resources. With the new and full moon on the 8th and 2nd house axis, the axis pertaining to material possessions, money and the ways you utilize it, you will find that this month brings forward either growth in those departments, or situations that make you reevaluate your financial situation and goals. Venus and Mars will move into the area of your chart pertaining to relationships and agreements with others, joining forces with Saturn. Be mindful around your relationships in the later half of this month, as the joining of these three planets in this house can bring up situations in your relationships that have been unresolved or pushed on the backburner. It can be a great time of clearing up stuff within relationships and building,in a typical Aquarian manner, for future success for the relationships in your life that are meaningful.

VIRGO

Tarot Card: The Sun (jumper: Hanged Man)
Wow, Virgos, you all are in the thick of major cycles! Last month, you were called on to take chances, be more curious and childlike and a little less adult so you can raise your frequency and get out of some stuck or sad energies. This month, you are asked to keep engaging that childlike creative curiosity along with turning toward your inner child for more healing work. This card is about illuminating your Self, being seen, and experiencing success. If some of you are seeking confirmation about a particular goal, this card indicates success in March, but perhaps with a caveat. This may be slightly changing plans, changing perspective a bit, or sacrificing something in order to complete the successful transaction awaiting you. For others going through more inner personal shifts, this part of the cycle really does feel like doing inner child work will help shift your very exhausted motherly perspective into a space of seeing things through a child’s eyes. This shift may help bring clarity to a certain interpersonal situation, whether it is at home, work, or in a friendship, or simply provide you comfort through understanding. If it feels mental health related, I would suggest checking out one of my favorite therapeutic modalities: Internal Family Systems or “parts work” by Richard Schwartz. If you keep having the same kind of person/situation show up over and over in your life, there is a lesson you have not quite completed… IFS sheds light on your defensive parts born in childhood that have good intentions, but that you may now have outgrown. They are taking power away from your Self and affecting your well-being. Join the Hanged Man on the tree and look at things from your inner child’s perspective. There is medicine there. Use this month’s full moon in your sign to get into this work!

Astro Snapshot
You can expect that either a blast-from-the-past, or news from a past relationship finds its way to you this March, as this month starts off with a new moon in your house of relationships. This month is a great time for you to utilize the growing and releasing pattern of the moon as it moves through the departments of your life that pertain to your own personal identity/ needs, and where that meets others. This month is full of growth and expansion in the relationships department, but also will bring forward a deeper look inward within yourself with lots of introspection and personal exploration. There is also a strong push out into the public sphere of life for you, or the push to upgrade certain parts of your life as Mercury, your ruling planet moves out of the lower, more internal, sections of your chart and moves into the higher, more visible section.

LIBRA

Tarot Card: Wheel of Fortune
Wow, Libras, it feels like this month you will finally have some relief or at least some forward movement in spaces you’ve felt stuck. Last month you were focusing on getting out of mental binds and ideas that caged you. January had similar energy, so it looks like in March, the start to the year will finally be making sense or simply closing out that cycle. Wheel of Fortune reminds us that whatever is happening in and around us is impermanent… Everything alive moves through cycles in order to be healthy and grow, including shedding old skin and dying metaphorical deaths as we transform for the better. You’ve been doing some work, and it shows! Now the Wheel turns in your favor to an upswing, bringing in some Jupiter luck, expansions, and growth. Integrate the lessons learned and experiences that changed you. Allow what you may still be clutching to go if you know in your heart it is time. Let the wheel stomp out the old to make room for the new by rolling over those new seeds, pushing them into the earth to start growing. Use the new moon in Pisces to dream big and connect with your Guides and soul to create new plans as you step into this fresh cycle energy.

Astro Snapshot
In the later half of the month, when we enter the Aries season, your relationship and public life will have a lot of energy for growth and expansion. You may find that networking will amp up and that there will be new people coming into your life. You have seen quite a bit of focus over the previous month around areas of your life that deal with home, family and the past, as well as the ways that you care and nurture yourself. This month you move on from that and move into a pace of life that becomes more about your passions and creation. Venus, your ruling planet, moves into the 5th house this month, the house of joy, children, creation, dating and self-expression. While she is not in a very great space, sandwiched between Mars and Saturn, she still comes into the territory putting a focus on all that the 5th house is about. You may find that there is a realistic or long term focus on the things in life that bring you joy and fun, or you may be even working around areas of children and creating family. Also, be prepared to say goodbye to something this month that has served as an obstacle or burden. You may finally break through or simply decide that it’s time to just let it go.

SCORPIO

Tarot Card: The Star
Dear Scorpios, many of you have been going through some difficult shifts, and in March, there is not only solid forward movement toward better change, healing, and growth, but you are developing an intimate relationship with hope and celestial healing. The Star arrives to not just remind us to tap into hope and optimism, but also as a harbinger of celestial, ancestral, and cosmic purification and light energy that mends deep wounds, sends impactful messages, and creates inner spiritual shifts that resonate into our waking life. The Star comes in to herald rebirth and renewal, and helps you find your faith. For me, it is very much the card of The Pleiades, with the 7 sisters above the water bearer. Deep breathe into your power, natural healing ability, and hope. The cosmos are with you.
Astro Snapshot

This month can be a little intense for you, but it will be very useful. You may find this month that a strong focus on your past comes up as your 4th house, the house of past and history, sees Mars and Venus moving in. Saturn has already been here, and when these three join forces, you will be given a glimpse into the past. This will relate to a particular place in your life that you might be feeling stuck, or struggling to see beyond what is going on right now. Know that this month’s introspection serves you for the future as when we enter the end of this month, you will have a much clearer vision of what is to come. Saturn in your 4th house works to respect the integrity of where you have come from in order to best align you with where you seek to go, so any frustration about feeling stuck or things in your life not moving quicker is most likely serving to insure a much more stable and successful outcome. You may also have an influx of creative energy at the same, as well as shifting around of the social circles around you.

SAGITTARIUS

Tarot Card: The Hanged Man
Sag folks, you are still traversing the land of slowed time and pauses… Aquarius also got this card, so you may be dealing with Aquarius folks or have Aquarius significance in your chart. This makes me think timing is everything with certain endeavors, and after receiving the guidance of Temperance and walking the Middle Path to find balance last month, March’s energy is built around pausing and shifting your viewpoint to seek new perspectives. This will help you to either get comprehensive information needed or to connect better with someone by understanding things from their vantage point. The Hanged Man’s goal is wisdom, not folly, so patience is still needed, while actively flipping the script for fresh insight and perhaps even sacrificing something in order to grow. For some seeking a sign/message about a certain goal, this card is asking you to sit a bit longer in the indecision energy; again, timing is everything. It’s a card of less action and more contemplation. Trust these major arcana cards that are showing up for you… Trust timing and learn from expanding your perception. It will make sense soon.

Astro Snapshot

This month starts off with a new moon right on top of Jupiter, your ruling planet, in the 4th house. The 4th house deals with the ways that we tend to ourselves, the ways that we nurture our core needs and find a sense of wellbeing. This house serves as the source that we pull resources and inner strength from. With this new moon being on top of Jupiter, you may find this month that there is a spiritual calling inward. This may be a calling to replenish your resources and tend to yourself as the end of this month and the next brings major advancements. Jupiters energy of truth and wisdom will be activated, so this month calls for you to seek out inner wisdom and to listen to your inner guidance. You may also see unexpected information from people from your past which might try to reopen something from before. Use a lot of reason and self-discipline with what you decide to do to make sure that past cycles are not repeated but to also direct any desire to re-open the past, towards a much more evolved outcome.

CAPRICORN  Tarot Card: King of Wands

Caps, after some potential changes in recent months, March’s medicine is embodying the King of Wands, the Divine Masculine that takes decisive action toward their goals, uses creativity and joie de vivre to connect and create, and finds ways to enact confidence and courage in all they do. The themes of the month are mastery and completion, especially around leadership. If you’ve felt stagnant and need some encouragement, King of Wands is about drive and action toward a vision without letting “what ifs” get in the way. It’s also a card that focuses on manifestation. Step into a leadership role in some form (or at least your personal power) in order to get things moving or get things right with someone. This is not a card of passivity or temperance; it’s a card of commitment and vision for the future, so perhaps spend time dreaming up what that looks like for you, then make a plan to get it rolling.

Astro Snapshot
This month is very transformative in your first house, the house of self and beginnings. Mars and Pluto come together here and bring about a change to an outlook on life or something intimate and personal to you. You may become more aware that a particular outlook may not be serving you anymore, and finally decide to try something very new. Your house of finances and material possessions sees Venus and Mars move in with your ruling planet, Saturn. This month might actually serve to spice up financial life, but also bring forward situations pertaining to what you value in this department. Is your job working? Do you need to reallocate energy towards something else to feel more balanced here? Know that if this is true, your aquarian energy in your 2nd house looks to find a solution and to think outside the box, so know that anything pertaining to your financials this month isn't a black or white answer.

AQUARIUS

Tarot Card: The Hanged Man
Sagittarius also got this card… This card is asking you to pause, reflect, and use your Aquarian expansive vision to see whatever is your focal point this month from a different angle with some distance. It focuses on the pausing part, because instead of jumping to conclusions or making hasty decisions, putting space between you and a certain person/situation, you will get more information to help you make the best choice. I feel that some of you aren’t dealing with a person or situation, but a personal idea or goal and you are ready to get moving, but something is not quite in place. This card is asking you to be patient and trust the timing… You may lose out on something (the sacrifice part), but remember that anything that is meant for you will still be there or make it’s way back around. Let go of anything that isn’t working, look at things with fresh eyes, and be sure your perception is crystal clear before making decisions or moving forward. Coming off the 3 of Swords energy last month takes time to shake off, so contemplation and seeking wisdom, not instant gratification, will sustain and nourish you. Trust your intuition, too. If you think your idea is too wacky (we love you for this!), let it ride, and use March to collect all the info and get resources in place to make people see how awesome your dream really is. Surrender to infinity flow! The goods are coming in time!

Astro Snapshot

This month sees the moving out of Mars and Venus from your 12th house, the house of endings, into your 1st, the place of new beginnings. Before these two planets move into your 1st, they must pass over Pluto in the 12th! In summary, it's time to say goodbye and let go. You may have had some situations over the last month or two that have been calling into question why you might still be holding onto something. As these two planets move over Pluto, the energy of transformation can be accessed and can really aid you in making a lasting change for yourself. This is also major materialization energy, so it's a great time to get into materializing some of your ideas, even if it's in the smallest of ways. Your 2nd and 8th house have lunations this month, so a lot of stuff can materialize around worklife, resources, money and the ways that utilize them. Be careful to not be too hard or extreme with yourself this month, as Mars conjunct Pluto in your 12th can turn up the inner critic. Some of this may be productive, but in excess it can become something that can set you back.

PISCES

Tarot Card: Queen of Wands (jumper: Page of Pentacles)
Pisces, happy powerful new moon in your sign this month! Gemini also got this card (and a Pentacles jumper), so you may be in relation with a Gem, but your primary message this month is to step into your power. Your jumper card in cahoots with the fire Queen has 2 messages: One, for some of you, your reading is underlining a calling to be either a student or teacher in the arts, witchcraft/esoteric studies, or something you are passionate about in your community. This is the message to DO IT. Either say yes if this is already in your energetic field, or start exploring continuing education or teaching opportunities around creative work, magick work, or anything that passionately connects you to your local spaces and people. For others, and all really, this reading is highlighting activating your Divine Feminine creator/manifestor energy by taking meaningful risks and putting yourself out there: unapologetically speak your mind and take up space. Get out of your comfort zone. Engage your inner will and ask yourself what drives you to get up each day and live? What gives your life meaning? Do more of those! Where do you feel the most creative and connected to like-minded people? Where are you the most free? Go there more. Your soul purpose is stirring, so fan your inner fire and let your determination fuel your exciting journey.

Astro Snapshot
This month sees a strong beginning for you with the Pisces new moon happening in your first house. The energy of this month is big and expressive and seeks to cheer you on for new things you might choose to pull the trigger on. You may get some funny looks from others, or some unsolicited opinions. Do you best to take all of that with a grain of salt and to block out what might just be some funky energy from others. This month is all about sticking to your inner truth, as this new moon lands right on top of your ruling planet, Jupiter. Here, Jupiter seeks to bring out the truth of who you really are and what your true potential might be. You may also find this month the desire to rearrange particular elements of your social life. Friends, relationships and social circles can end up having some shifts, and some of the Virgo energy of tidying can become very useful here. This month is also very spiritual for you. Not that any moment isn’t, but there can be a very prominent experience this month that feels like clear spiritual insight and a reminder of connection.
