The Sun is in Gemini most of the month, keeping things light and chatty. The New Moon in Gemini on the 3rd of the month brings a fresh set of ideas to the stage. With Venus in the mix as well this leads to some excellent socializing and communication opportunities. Mars and Mercury are moving throughout the sign of Cancer. This is about better verbalizing how we feel as a whole. More time can be spent with family, visiting home, or searching for the perfect place to live. We all love to marvel at the perfect symmetry, deep jewel tones, and vibrations coming from crystals, but how do they actually work and what are the best ways to use them? All natural crystals are formed by the Earth and undergo a transformation from liquid to solid. As the solidification process takes place the atoms begin to arrange themselves in a three dimensional highly organized fashion; forming what is called crystal lattices. The lattices are what we visually perceive as the geometry/shape of a crystal. When the crystal is growing, the lattices repeat and repeat for as long as the conditions for growth allow.

For the first Spellwork Sunday, I wanted to focus on rituals involving Diana’s huntress aspect. It is very important to note that the various lunar cycles play a critical role in working with Diana, thus understanding the phases of the moon and how they play with Diana can greatly alter the outcome of any ritual, spell and overall connection. Diana was not just a lunar goddess, but was worshiped as the moon itself!
