People are apt to be reactionary when it comes to personal needs. Tensions will rise as as the nodes of the moon move into a cardinal square  with Uranus. The new nodal placements of Capricorn (south node) and Cancer (north node) signify and new change in our lives for the next year and a half collectively. We are still coming off of the two eclipses in Cancer and Aquarius last month, so it’s expected for emotions to still be tender. I don’t often write about the significance of retrogrades unless of course, it’s a mercury retrograde. But this month a brief lesson may deem helpful. During a retrograde for those of us here on earth, a planet may appear to be moving backwards. While it may seem real, it’s an optical illusion. This is a result of the planet slowing down. Many people I speak with tend to freak out when they hear the word “retrograde”, but I am always quick to squash this reaction. May 2018 is jam packed with some major changes. We find ourselves examining our value systems, both literally and emotionally. Uranus changes signs, and enters Earthy Taurus on the 15th of May. This will create some explosive new creative and financial stirs. On this same day we experience a fierce new Moon in Taurus that tunes us into our own inner security. Many of us will be evaluating partnerships, and the give and take necessary to maintain harmony.
