Venus of Willendorf Goddess Statuette

This is a cast resin replica of the original figurine, The Venus of Willendorf. The original statuette was found in 1908 near Lower Austria, which is estimated to have been made around roughly 22,000 - 30,000 BCE during the European Paleolithic era. The original statue is made from limestone and ochre.

This form reveals the significance of the earliest fertility amulet or talisman, also known as a "fetish", and thus is associated with the archetype of Venus. Note that the Willendorf figuring predates the concept and goddess "Venus", making this metaphorical connection perfect for ritual purposes. 

Use this statuette as a general reference to any goddess archetype during your ritual. Make her offerings, carry her around for protection, christen and charge her with your intentions. Adopt her and adorn her with roses and crystals. She's wonderful!
