Smoky Quartz Cluster with Black Tourmaline

Quartz is the most abundant mineral on earth, and has the most variations of any mineral. Smokey (or smoky) quartz is a great variation as is very diverse, like its mother, crystal quartz.

Black Tourmaline, or Schorl, is a form of tourmaline that ranges from black to very dark green. Specimens considered "lower quality" are often more brittle and contain neat inclusions such as quartz, hematite, mica, and iron. High quality specimens are shinier but do not have inclusions of other minerals. 

Each cluster will have a wonderful shade of light to dark brown with varying degrees of transparency in it's smoky sections, and cool clusters of black tourmaline accentuating the specimen.. 

These unique clusters are essential for any collector, and can be used in various ways for meditating, such as scrying, and look beautiful on display next to a candle or other crystals.
