One of the most talked-about modern books on ceremonial magick and spiritual transformation. In High Magick, Damien Echols shares the practices that became a source of strength, purpose, and profound personal transformation during his years on death row. Blending ancient Western esoteric traditions with practical, accessible instruction, this book offers a thoughtful introduction to ceremonial magick for modern practitioners.
As Damien writes, "Magick is not a path for followers; it is a path for questioners, seekers, and anyone who has trouble settling for dogma and pre-formulated answers." Throughout the book, he explores magick as a spiritual practice centered on intention, discipline, and personal growth, while tracing its connections to traditions such as Hermeticism, Qabalah, meditation, and ritual work.
Inside, you'll learn foundational practices including the Four-Fold Breath, Middle Pillar, Qabalistic Cross, and the Lesser Rituals of the Pentagram, along with guidance on visualization, creating talismans, working with angelic beings, developing a consistent practice, and approaching magick with intention and integrity.
Accessible enough for those beginning their journey yet rich enough for experienced practitioners, High Magick has become a modern classic for readers interested in ceremonial magick, Western esotericism, occult studies, meditation, and spiritual development. If you're looking to deepen your practice and explore the transformative power of ritual, this is a book you'll find yourself returning to again and again.
One of our most beloved books EVER!
