Grape Agate Cluster

Grape agate is a very special, unique form of agate. Discovered and introduced to the gem world in just 2016, it is mainly sourced from the Mamuju area of the western Sulawesi coast in Indonesia. In its mineral form, grape agate appears in clusters, similar to that of grapes (hence the name), and comes in color variations ranging from lavender to deep milky purple, and the even more rare mint to dark teal green. Many specimens are also found with druzy, creating a beautiful sparkle effect on the modules. A museum quality piece of grape agate will often times have a lot of druzy and sparkle.

Any serious crystal collector needs grape agate!
