Analysis

This Full Moon is a real doozy. With a second Libra Full Moon, you may find yourself having a double take. This is an extremely rare event. This may be one of those days you want to keep your schedule light and expect the unexpected. If you do have to interact with others, keep calm and be sure to be extra mindful with others. Patterns that have been coming to the surface over the past four weeks are now reaching a major tipping point. It all boils down to our relationship with others, and how balanced our scales really are. Are you doing too much for someone else, or perhaps having a hard time reaching an agreement?  It’s best not to push your perspective or views on others today. It’s also important to guard against making important decisions, as they can be easily influences by emotions and not logic. As the Sun in Aries moves into an intense 29-degree opposition with the Moon in Libra we call this a “do or die” aspect in astrology. Ah, 29, Saturn’s favorite number. Twenty-nine being an “Excess” of a specific sign. So, in theory, twenty-nine degrees of Aries screams “ I’LL FIGHT YOU TO THE DEATH! DON’T GO TO WAR WITH ME!”. While Libra wants to argue what is “Fair”, and view both sides. When the truth is twenty-nine degrees of Libra is the MOST indecisive, unsure and often times hopelessly and gloriously self-sacrificial degree there is.

The Bottom Line: This Moon with all these 29’s = a major turning point. The theme is a realization in what a healthy relationship actually looks like. Sometimes it's compromise, other times it’s walking away. Expect some unresolved or old relationship issues to appear. We are in major need of flushing out and detoxing codependent tendencies or relationships. By taking the time to get in alignment with ourselves, we can tune into Libra’s higher octaves; like fairness and diplomacy. By doing this we have the power to shift into something incredibly powerful; peace and harmony.

The signs will be extremely clear as to what and who in your life may be out of balance. Be that an argument with a partner, a conflict with a boss who’s super demanding, or where you are bending over backward doing far too much for someone else at the expense of your sanity. On the other hand, it can also make us argumentative and have some blind spots when it comes to fairness. The aspects from Uranus make this an unexpected situation, one that may take 2-5 days to play out. Uranus has to do with sudden change an innovation. It’s clear the motives of this moon is to deliver sudden insights that help us clear the decks and reach higher levels of freedom, but more importantly stability in the material world. This is an excellent time to relax in nature, find time to get away and go hiking, perhaps do some gardening or cook a healthy meal. Taurus needs to feel some solid fertile ground. So in the off chance, things do go a bit haywire be sure to tune in to one of these methods to ground yourself out. The aspects creating what we astrologers call “T-squares”, between this Full Moon and Pluto are fierce. We are still in the process of learning to wield our power in a different way. Since the beginning of 2019, many of us have been confronted with some very intense push back from an authority figure in our life. While it makes a lot of us want to stick it to the man, the lesson is to take the high road and practice healthy conflict resolution. Very do no harm, but take no s***!

This Moon is further complicated by a series of challenges between mutable signs. Mars is in curious Gemini squaring off with Neptune. It’s possible that many people have spent a great deal of time trying to come up with solutions since last month to some issues. Now, it may very well play out with sudden changes in hopes that dramatically changing situations may be the best solution. Like I said, sudden changes and expecting the unexpected. Some may feel as if there’s no real easy way out or find it challenging formulating the words to speak. This will trigger sudden endings and walking away with little to no conversations as to why or how things came to be. Venus is in the final degrees of Pisces, hovering quietly before she quickly moves into Aries in the days ahead. The light side of this is Venus in Aries is self-love, swift and fiery. Those who do separate may find themselves reacting differently, and choosing to not self destruct, rather turning to methods of self-care. It may very well be something that was expected and long overdue. Mercury has got back and forth over these specific degrees the past few weeks in the retrograde. It’s very possible you’ve been plotting a serious conversation with someone or feeling impending changes coming within a relationship but have been holding back before cutting someone or something loose. Thankfully the Moon will make a positive aspect to Jupiter at the time of this moon. This will provide a positive way out. Regardless of what happens, you’re being delivered a blessing in disguise. It’s possible this clearing out is purely to make room for a happier, more joy-filled existence. It appears when a door closes, a window opens. The stars are on your side and have the potential to help you several any chords in a fair and painless manner, but only if you’re willing to actually let go.

Aries, the cardinal fire sign, is the very first of the zodiac. It’s a sign known for its independence and willingness to forge on. This is the very first New Moon in the astrological new year. This begins once the Sun moves into Aries, as it did starts to the day before on March 20th. For astrologers and those from the Northern Hemisphere, we call this the Spring equinox. This is the welcoming of new energy and new life. Those of you wanting to set new personal “new year” goals, now is your time. We promise they’re more likely to stick than the ones set in January!

It’s Pisces season! Enjoy the depth and breadth of compassionate cracklings, spiritual connections and synchronicities, creative flow, and also closings. Pisces is a very poignant transitional sign as the ruler of the 12th house. There is something akin to “inner honor ceremonies” as our personal planets cross this threshold, and for all when the sun ingresses this sign. We lovingly, sometimes grievingly, part with certain energies, ideas, and relationships before a cosmic rebirth in the spring upon Aries season. Take a final swim in February, kiss those inner waves, and see what you can’t bring up to your shore during this celestial portal.
