Spellwork Sundays: Ritual Love Bath

Spellwork Sundays: Ritual Love Bath

September 12, 2019 0 Comments

Hey all! For this edition of Spellwork Sunday I wanted to talk about ritual baths and how they can be used to remove blocks in your path for finding true love. You can spend all of your time setting the intention, but if your path has anything in its way you may be casting out a love letter with no address back to sender.....

Spellwork Sundays: Jar Spells for Banishing and Binding, August 18th, 2019

Spellwork Sundays: Jar Spells for Banishing and Binding, August 18th, 2019

Hey all! For this edition of Spellwork Sunday I wanted to talk about magickal jar spells. Jar Spells have been used for centuries, and remnants of jar spells have been found amongst ancient European ruins for sometime. While they routinely have gone through bouts of popularity and use, there is no doubt that they can be an effective method for money and love spells, sex magick, charming a certain someone in particular, binding spells, breaking curses, and even yes, hexes.

Spellwork Sunday: Tarot 101, Understanding the Basics

As tarot continues to grow and expand in popularity, my heart as been warmed by those finally embracing it as a divination tool for good instead of the false perception of it being demonic. My philosophy with tarot is as follows: Tarot is much like a picture book full of archetypes (parts of our collective human psyche) and characters. As we lay out the cards we get to piece together a story that helps ...

Low Magick vs High Magick + Spellwork Sunday, June 16th, 2019

Low Magick vs High Magick + Spellwork Sunday, June 16th, 2019

As with many aspects of the esoteric and occult and even mainstream religion, magic is composed of dualities. The most obvious divide is that of black ("bad") magic and white ("good") magic. From time to time, when acquaintances find out that I mess with the craft, they immediately ask "but you're doing the good kind of magic, right?" So, I personally prefer the Latin terms Maleficium and Beneficium. These better encapsulate the difference between working with ill intentions (malice) and working to heal (benefit). Although something of a trope, a sort of stereotype rooted more in both folklore and mass media than in how real magic is done in the world, this duality still helps classify our knowledge of the magical arts.

Rather than bringing the one you desire closer, or manifesting a hot night with some mysterious lover to be named, I wanted to focus more on a simple ritual to help you decide between 2 existing lovers! Yas queen, we are talking about asking the Goddess for which one stays, and which one goes...

Spellwork Sundays: Crystals 101

We all love to marvel at the perfect symmetry, deep jewel tones, and vibrations coming from crystals, but how do they actually work and what are the best ways to use them? All natural crystals are formed by the Earth and undergo a transformation from liquid to solid. As the solidification process takes place the atoms begin to arrange themselves in a three dimensional highly organized fashion; forming what is called crystal lattices. The lattices are what we visually perceive as the geometry/shape of a crystal. When the crystal is growing, the lattices repeat and repeat for as long as the conditions for growth allow.

Spellwork Sundays: A spell to restore Justice with Ma'at, MAY 5th, 2019

Spellwork Sundays: A spell to restore Justice with Ma'at, MAY 5th, 2019

May 01, 2019 0 Comments

Hiya! This weeks Spellwork Sunday, we are focusing on working with the incredible Egyptian Goddess, Ma’at for restoring justice in our times of need. Ma’at was the goddess of truth, justice and the universal order of life. Ma’at, wasn’t just the goddess of these concepts, but was the embodiment of them and therefore was seen to be above the ideas of right and wrong because she IS the truth, and nothing is stronger than truth! We can invoke her in times when....

Hey there! for this Spellwork Sunday I wanted to talk about the magick behind Bay Leaves, also known as Laurel Leaves. Bay leaves have numerous uses, and they are a most powerful tool in aiding communication to your deities, cleansing a space, breaking curses and banishing negativity. Today I want to focus on the aspect of banishing negativity, which is something we can all do at home.

Spellwork Sundays: Moon Magick, April 7th, 2019

For the first Spellwork Sunday, I wanted to focus on rituals involving Diana’s huntress aspect. It is very important to note that the various lunar cycles play a critical role in working with Diana, thus understanding the phases of the moon and how they play with Diana can greatly alter the outcome of any ritual, spell and overall connection. Diana was not just a lunar goddess, but was worshiped as the moon itself! When we talk about honoring or invoking the hunter aspect of Diana, we can use this trait when trying to aim at a target in our lives and strike it with accuracy, i.e. a new job, prospective lover, personal goal, etc.
